R52 Pathfinder MY2017-2018 - extended recall Vehicle Recall Records
This recall was expanded on 21 November 2019. This recall expands recall PRA2018/17106, the scope of the previously announced campaign code R1807 to include additional vehicles.

Model Years 2017-2018
April 2016 to June 2018 production year
5 828 affected vehicles
The previous recall inspected and replaced only ABS Actuators within suspect production lots. Some previously recalled vehicles will be recalled again with the latest remedy.
Vehicles have been manufactured with an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) actuator with an oil seal that may leak brake fluid internally.
Learn MoreIf this occurs, an ABS warning lamp will illuminate to warn the driver. If the vehicle continues to be operated in this condition, the brake fluid leak may create an electrical short in the actuator circuit, which could lead to a fire.
Learn MoreReplacement parts will not be available until Mid-2020. Once replacement parts become available, affected consumers will be contacted by Nissan Australia to arrange the replacement of the ABS actuator at no cost to consumers (parts and labour).
Until the recall is commenced, consumers of affected vehicles are advised that if they see the ABS warning light continuously illuminated (10 seconds or longer), they should park their vehicle outside and contact Nissan Roadside Assistance for assistance.
